It is not ugly. It is just being called ugly because that is the only thing its opponents can come up to say about it to cast negativity upon it.

Oh no, it is ugly.

Believe me, if i wanted to level some serious criticism at Sony there would many more things to talk about than just the look of their most recent hardware revision. Similarly I love Nintendo's games but it certainly won't stop me being critical of them when they do something i'm not happy with or don't agree with.

In the end it doesn't matter one bit how it looks, if it makes the PS3 more affordable and Sony more competitive for the remainder of the generation then that's great for everyone.
