I like the slim PS3 better than the fat one. It fits the black color better imo. It is better shaped imo too. I would have loved to see some leds in the drive slot though, like we get with the Wii.

^this. If I may add, I'm surprised they still kept the "sucking-disc" tech since they got rid of the touch panel in favor of buttons. I highly doubt it has card slots and it probably has only 2 usb ports.

Oh well, I'll still get one since it sounds a lot more reliable than the 60gb (with the less power consumption). A cheap-looking console with no BC is better than a  YLOD console with BC.

I don't think it's ugly, but from an aesthetic point of view the phat is better.

Now they we got better pictures of it in proper lighting, it seems much better looking then first view.

i think they wanted it to look cheap...as in inexpensive...but i think it worked out looking more like a cheap fake chinese-made console. i dont think it was a very good move to go for the "cheap" look in the first place anyways.
