Never seen your reply, I would've take you on your bet. I'm actually happy that the PS3 slim has a great start. The PS3 is a good system, I really don't know why it doesn't have the success it deserve.
My favorite games for this gen:
1. Gears of War 2. MGS4 3. Killzone 2 4. Halo 3(Underated by many) 5. Mass Effect
Lol I was off by 100k, and lol at the bots that got owned on their disrespectfull predition.

YOU, my friend, have just been PWNed!
atmu is the biggest crow either (yea the one with the times magazine article saying "how wii won") He said it would take 6-7 weeks for it to hit 1 million, and expected 230k for week 1.
Thats all Id like to point out =)

Hey I was pretty well bang on with America and Others, it's just Japan that I was off.

Pretty much everyone who predicted (I should say hoped) that a $299 slim would have minimal impact is the current high scorer for crow eating.
But that's just one week. We'll see how the holidays pan out starting with Black Friday. But as of right now, it's fairly safe to say that PS3 sales won't magically plummet back to pre-slim levels because "everyone who wanted a $299 PS3 already has one."
