Iwata had a lot of interesting things to say about the industry in general and Nintendo's market expansion and such, and again emphasized that Mario Kart Wii will have the first online battle mode, announced Sonic in Smash, announced Monster Hunter 3, etc... Anyway, on to the WiiWare:

The Pokemon Ranch channel didn't have a slide, but had a video, and Iwata explained that your Miis can interact with your Pokemanz and take pictures with them, which you can send to your friends. He also said you don't need to have either of the DS Pokemanz games to play. You can still ranch it up with some Pokemanz either way.

I have no idea when the North American one is.

According to IGN, Hudson's announced 2 more games, bringing their total up to 3. In addition to Star Soldier R, they'll be bringing a new Bomberman to WiiWare, as well as JoySound Wii, a karaoke game with downloadable songs and minigames.

I watched that whole 50 minute keynote and weeded out the WiiWare-relevant screen shots and assembled this post and nobody's interested? 4 player Dr. Mario with Miis! 4 player Puzzloop with Miis! Online FFCC? No takers?

Dr. Mario looks awesome. A 4 player Co-op mode? Weeeird.

According to gamefront there are more than 100 titles in developement for Wii Ware.

I thought it was that they got over 100 proposals? Knowing nintendo they're likely to cut out a lot of the games they think won't be as good.
