Nathan Drake (and his buns)

After much deliberation, I've been forced to conclude that videogame characters and memes don't count.

Houser brothers - who created GTA, the first sand-box game. (right?)
Hideo Kojima - for creating the stealth genre

Personally, I'd consider the Houser Bros. as candidates even without GTA being first (which it isn't - it's just the first to bring sandbox gameplay to the mainstream).

I mean, look how big the GTA series is. Honestly.

Hiroshi Yamauchi, Gunpeo Yokoi, Kojima and mr. number 1 (or i'll beat the crap out of you) Shigeru Miyamoto.

Dave Jones created GTA. Not the Houser brothers.

Fuck this place is slow, how can Ken Kutaragi barely be mentioned after so many posts. He has to be in the top 2, or the whole list fails

(oh god here we go again)

i know he made Playstation but he didn't make a game.

Indeed I looked it up and Dave Jones created the first GTA, but was not responsible for GTA III and beyond which are the games I like to credit.

And I'm gonna add Will Wright to the list from creating the ultimate pc casual hit.

Fail. This thread has yet to hear of the majestic wonder that is Satoru Iwata. Why do people think the wii is doing so well? He's the guy that reformed Nintendo to what it is today, one of the worlds top CEOs. He has brought gaming to everyone, not just the gamer.
