I AM BOLO

100% lover "nothing else matter's" after that...

First Computer Owned:
AST 486-DX2-66 (Cyrix) w/ 540MB HDD, 8MB RAM, SB16 Sound card, double-speed cd-rom, some crappy onboard video. Windows 3.1.

First Computer Used:
some 386 with a monochrome monitor with no internal storage. MS-DOS. Mainly used for QBASIC

Some kind of 8-bit computer.

I don't remember much, because I was so small, but it had worse graphics than the NES.

I LOVE ICELAND!

My first homecomputer was an Amiga 500 which I got around 1989. I had to sell my NES with about 20 games in order to get the money together.

Then I sold the Amiga for my first "real" PC which was a 386 with 33 Mhz and 4 MB RAM which ran Wing Commander almost too fast but Wing Commander 2 just about at the right speed. ;)

The damn thing was so crazy expensive I had to convince my dad to skip in so technically I only owned half of it.

This was the first computer I did something other than gaming with and that I could actually use for school once my dad bought a printer.

The first love of my life:P

Amiga 500 with 1,5 MB RAM

Commodore 64 for me.

386 Processor
Windows 3.1
(but of course 99% of the games I played on this computer were DOS games)

The first computer my family owned was an epic POS.... it was an Emerson (yeah, they made computers back then!) circa 1990, with a whopping 10 Mhz processor (definitely NOT by Intel lol), dual 5.25" floppy disc drives, no CD ROM drive, NO HARD DRIVE, and something like 36kb of RAM. Came with a monochrome monitor and ran DOS.  I used to run Arkanoid II and Chessmaster 2000 on it, good times.

The first computer I ever used was in kindergarten when we had Apple II's and we used to play Oregon Trail and Math Blaster or some math game like it, also good times.

Edit:  My comp looked kinda like the pic of Radziel's Amiga, except waaaaaay shittier lol.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

First computer my family owned (when I was a kid) was a Commodore Vic20. With an impressive 5kB of memory. But I also had huge 1, 3 AND 5kB memory expansion cartridges, man the games we could play with that amount of memory. We had an external 3.5" floppy disk drive which took frikkin' ages to load up a game. You young'ns complaining about load times these days, sheesh!

First computer I could truly call my own was an Acer Pentium 1, with 800Meg HDD, and it was my first use to the interweb and e-mail too. Bought in December 1996.

My first job out of vet school used an "innovative" new Windows based clinic management programme that a friend of my boss developed. Previously all other clinic management computer programmes (that I knew about) were DOS based.

I was there when people used to ask whether a computer was "IBM compatible". How quaint that sounds now.
