Forums - Sales - How do you feel about telling others about your interest in game sales?

Sure. I have no problem saying I play video-games.

I always keep a porn site in the background in case my mom come to my room so she'll think am looking at porn not some silly video games data base

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

My wife gives me shit but I don't care.

Sometimes I preach tell to other people about VG Chartz and videogame sales in general. They all say "meh".

I've told some of my friends about my interest in game sales, last summer when I was uploading and scanning pics and covers they would have called me to do something and I would tell them what I was doing and they would say things like "dork" "nerd" or what not but it never really bothered me. It's not something that I'll tell people out of the blue but if they ask what I'm doing I'm not afraid of answering

“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - author unknown

It's not exactly the conversation starter you come up with when talking to people.

i talk about it with friends interested in video games, i tell them that the wii is in first place, some people have no clue who is winning and who is losing and i let them know lol

I had a drunken conversation about gamesales to a friend who doesn't game which was awkward I imagine. Other then that if a friend acts like a fanboy i relay sales information to prove my point.

Neither do I, because that's normal. Playing video games isn't lame or nerdy anymore. Looking at video game sales, however, is >_<

True, true... I rarely mention my checking out of VGChartz much to my friends!
