Besides the plan (which I hadn't previously heard of, thanks for the heads-up) seems to have been to replace Christianity with another church. It is hardly that anti-religious if it plans on building a new religion.

Oh yeah, Mafoo is fun to debate with. CommunistHater is just a troll.

It is debatable but Hitler may well have been catholic - either way his religious views never really entered the public arena - he was never anti-religious (nor pro-religious).

In any case religious acts have killed many too, the crusades and the inquisition are prime examples from Christianity. However I don't blame these things on Christianity - I blame them on the power hungry leaders who used religion as a pretext. Same thing happened with Stalin and Mao - they were both megalomaniacs who used communism as a pre-text for dictatorship.

This.

In the end, evil, power hungry people will use whatever means they can to unify their people, using them as a weapona gainst others.  At one time tey used religion.  Now, they use the latest political craze.

You can't blame this on religion/atheism/whatever.  You can blame it on people using the powers of manipulation to the fullest.

Brilliant. You should be the President.
