Kid A is the only one to actually make money. B lost $7.00 and C broke even.

It's all about profit. While Son C has the most revenue, he also makes no profit. He breaks even. 5 glasses nets him 4 dollars, and 5 glasses are 1 litre.

Son B, however, sells it for a loss. His costs 3 dollars for one litre, and he gets 2 dollars and 50 cents for one litre. So for every litre he sells he loses 50 cents.

Son A is the clear winner, because he makes a dollar for every litre he sells. Five glasses at 60 cents a piece nets him 3 dollars, and the cost to make a litre is 2 dollars.

Notice how I defended my error filled thinking with (quick answer). If I had the time to treat this topic like I do the predictions league, I would've figured the answer out.
