to each his own i guess, personally it was refreshing for not knowing anything like that was going to happen and it felt good knowing i had to change my strategy to face a new challenge, what does everyone else think about the monsters?

Exactly, it would have added more Value to the gameplay by NOT knowing.

@CGI- Yeah, the price just isn't worth it with no replay value at all.

But atleast Uncharted 2 has online therefore adding replay value otherwise meh...

 * slaps Seraphic *   No replay value?!!!!!

All the treasures and different difficulties to play to earn that Plat trophy, are you kidding me? You need a stern talking to.....

nuuuuuu replay valuuuuuueeeee. :D

Plenty of replay value for me playing it again now. I think this is my 4th or 5th time through. I'm thinking I played it through at first before trophies so I'd have played it again. and speaking of those monsters that must not be named there are points where you deal with them and other enemies and do need to prioritize or you die fast. I love this game second platinum here I come.

I can't understand what the article author's problem is. It sounds like he's just bitter that he had to come up with a new strategy to deal with a completely different kind of enemy. It makes the game more diverse and only adds to the experience in my opinion. The ironic thing is that I've seen people berate Uncharted for being so redundant with it's combat.

Uncharted is the first game I ever replayed in my life and the only game I have completed more than 3 times. I think it does have good replay value

What the heck are you talking about? So you've never played Uncharted, but somehow you KNOW that there is no replayability? Where are you getting your information from? So far I have played it 3.5 times, it is my most replayed game of this generation, and probably the best that I've played this gen as well. Go buy it now. Don't respond, just get off the computer, and go buy it.

I disagree with the conclusion in bold, one of the original Uncharted's biggest issues was the repetitiveness of fighting wave after wave of pirates, but from a gameplay standpoint I found that the twist in the story helped to alleviate that repetitiveness by making you play a different way. Gamers should not be so stuck in their ways that they can't switch things up after 5 hours of playing a game.

From a story standpoint the twist was ridiculous and rather stupid, but from a gameplay standpoint I have no complaints.

...

Since its already spoiled, why does it not go well with the story Rill?

I hear alot of people bashing it...

I quite enjoyed the twist, the change in pacing was fun. I loved using the shotgun and blind fire to kill zombie-ish creatures. :D

There were monster's in Uncharted??!!

I refuse to read this until I play the game.
