I blame Sega for enabling Sonic Team.

Sega makes pretty decent Sonic games if you're not blinded by ignorance and actually sit down to play them.

There is no excuse for making the crap Sonic games they have over the years.

Sega, keep doing what you're doing. Don't let a bunch of form people tell you what to do. I enjoyed sonic unleashed and sonic and secret rings. The only sonic that sucked was Sonic 06, and that was because of horrible load times and impossible to find levels.

The present Sonic games are a disgrace compared to the old ones, and you have no idea whether or not I've played them (I've played several hours of Unleashed and Secret Rings). Mario is an example of how to maintain quality and please millions of fans. There is still plenty of talent with the Mario team. The Sonic team, on the other hand, is absolutely awful. Sonic's best days are past it, and they're always attempting some way to make a new, "true" Sonic team. They continuously fail.

They've been throwing out a lot of good elements in their recent games, now they just need to bring them all together. Black Knight's character swapping was similar to the replayable charm of such greats as Sonic 3, Secret Rings and Unleashed Daytime captured the thrill of speed ideally, and Unleashed Night had solid platforming (though very iffy combat). Add those elements together, and you would have something

I think just not sucking balls goes a long, long way.

I just want a full 2d game and see where Team Sonic go from there.
