Using the word ignorance? Check. Posting a picture from a terrible RPG (and it wasn't even an RPG, really) to express discontent? Check. Yup, that was pretentious.
The present Sonic games are a disgrace compared to the old ones, and you have no idea whether or not I've played them (I've played several hours of Unleashed and Secret Rings). Mario is an example of how to maintain quality and please millions of fans. There is still plenty of talent with the Mario team. The Sonic team, on the other hand, is absolutely awful. Sonic's best days are past it, and they're always attempting some way to make a new, "true" Sonic team. They continuously fail.
