CryEngine2 still looks better.... Console developing is really slowing this engine on PC. Shame because Crysis is still the best looking game out there and it was released nearly two years ago.

+100 fps? Sorry, but it looks like 15 fps. That wasn't very impressive. The global lighting looked like some cheap script-controlled HDR =/

Agreed. Crytek's engines are the most horribly optimized I've ever come across. What's the use of looking good if it flows like frozen syrup?

I disagree with you, Mummelmann. Just because their engines aren't as scalable as UE doesn't mean it's not optimized.

It's not a very exciting environment like the junlge was in the last demo so this is probably why some people find it not so impressive.
It's a boring video

Ummm, its an internet video, same as Youtube. Somehow I don't think it's running on your screen at 100+ fps at the native resolution.
Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

No, an internet video can't show 100fps, but it can clearly show the difference between 15 fps and 30fps. The last scene in this CryEngine 3 clip, with the moving of the couch in front of the window shows a very fluid motion, proving that the fram rate is higher and smoother in that part of the demo.
