Streets of rage 1........ Great game, but even as Segas biggest fan i will admit there are better side scrollers than SOR 1.

Streets of rage 2....... Simply the joint best side scroller ever made, it destroys all final fights, any turtles games, double dragon, golden axe ect.

Streets of rage 3........ Brilliant like streets of rage 2, destroys 95% of side scrollers , only beaten by SOR 2 and Guardian Heroes IMO.

Top 3 all time

Joint 1st........... SOR 2/Guardian Heroes

3rd Streets of rage 3..........

The rest? not even comparable to the above 3.

I my case..no ther beat'em me join like SOR...ppl love Final Fight..dude I HATE Final Fight..ugh.

I have to jump on the SOR love bandwagon here.

SOR3 is the msot technical beat em up ever. Look up videos of pros playing it on hardest dificulty and watch that jaw drop.

I would say final fight 1 was better than SOR 1 simply because the characters in FF had a bigger moves set.

But after that Final fight went down big time, part 2 & 3 were just poor whereas SOR 2 and 3 were excellent.

I cant think of one side scrolling beat em up that has more individual character moves sets than SOR 3

IGN reviewed Turtles in time recently and they got it spot on.......... they gave it 5.9 due to just simply mashing the same button repeatedly.

Oh, and SOR's music is simply the best of the 16 bit era.

Blaze. Shes well balanced... plus once you get those 3 stars her forward, forward puch move becomes demolition.
