it seems only m$ 1st party games are priced properly. bioshock and oblivion $29.99 is completely wrong, bioshock is $19.99 everywhere around me and the oblivion they have on demand is $19.99 at stores around here, $29.99 is the price for the game of the year edition of oblivion thats the version that should be on the service specially if they want that price. the other games prices are too high as well i think, it seems like u are being ripped off if u get the 3rd party games on demand , i think everyone should just go to the stores and get the 3rd party games, untill the price drops to $19.99.

yeah they are high and the reason for that is probably because the 3rd party companies can pick the price. Thats probably why M$ first party games are only $20.

i wonder when gears of war,banjo,lost odyssey,blue dragon,infinite undiscovery will make their appearance on "games on demand" from m$.

In the UK they are all £20, but every single game on the service can be found cheaper elsewhere, the only one you might struggle to find is Call of Duty 2, because that is a rare game now

What they really need to do is release Halo 2 on games on demand. They can even use the improved version they did for Vista and include the achievements it had, too! That way I'd have both Halo 1 and 2 digitally and Halo 3 hard copy.

@ nightsurge, if they are going to try and pursue Xbox Originals more they should definitely add achievements to those downloadable games, but I think they have given up on Xbox games

They're charging $29.99 for the non-GOTY Oblivion? What a fucking ripoff. The actual retail price everywhere for the GOTY edition is $29.99 and that includes like $30 worth of XBLA DLC for the game. I really want to get Oblivion soon and the new price is a blessing. I think I'll stick with a hard copy though.

call of duty 2 is $10.00 at kmart and at my walmart. i love that game.

I doubt I'll ever buy any of them because they are over priced. In fact, I just bought BF Bad Company for $15 used instead of $20 for a down load only.
