We all know that in some European countries, retailers have dropped the price of the PS3 to 299 Euros. Will this cause a large spike in numbers, a decent rise or a small rise in sales?

I don't think so. Its not all over the Europe and your everyday person that wants a PS3 doesn't know the price is 300 atm.

I think most people will be holding of on getting a ps3 till next month incase the slim is a reality and gets released.

Well for that Teh C3LL will punish those people when the time comes.

No it's not widespread enough, there will be a larger boost in America because of Madden

Maybe a 12k boost in total. (Madden plus extremely limited 300Euro deals).
