Hey everybody, has anyone ehard about a game of teh year edition coming out like they did with Gear of War Refresh? I don't have this game but figure some kind of edition is about due.
They don't actually mean Game of the Year, its to sell it to gullible casuals who have no idea.

Halo 3 had a game of the year edition also.

Well there's supposed to be a retail pack with the newest DLC and all the map packs, so i could see them packing it in with the main game in the future and referring to it as the "GOTY" edition.
They do that with every game... hell, they even repackaged L4D with the included Survival Mode update and extra lighthouse map and called it the GOTY edition!

I see most people missed what I was going after (or just as likely, maybe I just wasn't clear enough!).

There wont be a GotY edition of Gears 2.
Little Big Planet and Fallout 3 were the most awarded games of last year, those are the only 2 what will probably get GotY editions.
As for THIS years GotY... Uncharted 2 will probably take that crown, judging how E3 went.
