Why would it matter if GT5 is bundled to achieve such sales? Hasn't Halo been bundled since release?

Given the fact that every GT has sold 10 million what makes people assume this one wont? I have heard mentioned in this thread that there are doubts but I haven't heard much about those doubts.

Is there any other game that has sold drastically less going from ps2 to PS3 other than series that are multiplatform?

As of right now it seems unlikely but its still possible. If any franchise in Sony's arsenal can stand up and sell more then Halo it's Gran Turismo. The demo has sold almost half of what Halo 3 has so that indicates that there is a possibility of it happening

2,99 million is not "almost half" of 9,98 million no matter what way you slice it. It's not even a third.

VGC has it undertracked. PD released a statement saying that GT5 P has sold 4M. 4M rounded up to 5M isnt that big.

GT5 to be the best selling HD title??

World of Warcraft is the best selling HD game ever. it had before the chinese thing 11.5 million active subscribers, no doubt at least 16 million sales. The sims 2 had 13 million sales.

Lol definitely not!  Halo 3 had one small bundle in Europe for a little bit, and its been bundled with the Elite consoles since a couple of months ago.

If you took out bundles Halo 3 probably would be sitting at about 9.5 million instead of 9.9 million.

Excuse me, 1 million isn't that big? Yeah, let's just add 20% - It's not that big after all. That's a massive round off as well, and you should know it.
