I'm too lazy to see if they cost anything, but I saw on Kotaku that your avatar can have a lightsaber, and I want it right now

I do not think there are any free items so far in the Avatar Marketplace. There will be items that are unlockable via game achievements though.

Are they fuck lol... The LightSaber cost's 400 MSP and looks pretty bad to.

I could create these Avatar clothes (and so could anybody else with basic knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing etc) and I'd happily sell them for nothing.

And I'm sure Lucas Film would be glad you let you use their intellectual property and give it away for nothing. 

Not everyone is going to want to pay for avatar accessories but it's not like all the money is going into Microsofts pockets. 

Game reward items is a very cool thing though.

I just went through the avatar marketplace, all the items in there are branded items which explains why they cost money.

Having said that 80 points for some of the items is reasonable, 400 points for a lightsaber is a ripoff.

I do really want some of them... it is hard to resist, but I am trying. The thing is I have 430 points, but I know I will need 2000 for ME DLC and Shadow Complex (800 and 1200), so I am going to have 430 points spare because the only way to get 1600 more points is to get 2000 points

when do you ever get something for nothing...other than online play with psn,..and HOME,..and the occassional lbp costume...okay yeah, nevermind.
