Xenogears on PSP over here.

I even made my own custom EBOOT. You can actually find it on the net. Well, the BG, Icon, Music, Transparent text box, etc... anyways.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Shouldn't you be doing things like raising your baby than contributing the CFW scene on PSP?

Yes, but only through wi-fi. You need to put the game in the PS3, and then use remote play to play the game on your PSP

So in conclusion, no, you have to mod. But it is completely legal.

OH SNAP! LOL!

Anyways, I used to be big with the PSP homebrew scene, I would spend countless hours stockpiling all of the best applications, emulators, etc... from all around the net and added them to my gigantic thread on the site I used to mod at.

The thread is still stickied there too and it contains around 200 programs for homebrew enabled PSPs.

@Outlawauron

Hasn't been updated since 2005 so I doubt you would need anything from it although who knows. Some of the programs may need to be merged into (1) EBOOT file depending on how old they are.

The thread was from way back when PSP 1.50 was first hacked with the KXploit hack.

Just in case I will just send them via PM.

One link is to my old thread which has actually been cut down a bit which is odd and the second has a link to another thread of mine with awesome custom EBOOTS for various emulators. The SNES one has the Super Mario World title screen and the Gamegear one has the old Gamegear commercial which pokes fun at the Gameboy for it's "Creamed Spinach colors". All fully animated and with sound. The Gamegear one is actually the commercial and all of the vocals from it in it's entirety.

You have to have custom firmware on your PSP. You can't put that on your PSP unless you have a PSP-1000 or PSP-2000 model.

Actually I hear you can load Chicken Hen R2 on the 3000 now. So currently all PSP are hackable....3000 and the Late 2000 are not hardware modable unless something happened in the last little bit

You can't run PS1 ISOs on the 3000 model regardless.
