Forums - Microsoft - Hard Drive upgrade - Why so hard Micrsofot?

Looks genuine has the correct part number and a genuine MS sticker. The box is not standard fare though, the important thing is the xbox believes it to be true.

From a UK seller on Ebay who had 10 to sell at the time it was not 45 it was 49 pounds my bad. Amazon have a 120gb expansion kit which would include the Migration kit for 88 pounds so not much in it to be honest especially when you take into account all the fiddling around.

after I factor the transfer cable (£12) then I saved £26 so still a bargain.

U can order the kits from M$. Buy honestly it isnt that hard to just redownload all your game content and get a memory card to move over your profile and game saves.

Long Live SHIO!

get the software and cable MS offers and you won't have any problems.

I upgraded my 20GB to 120GB 8 months ago and it took me about an hour. (50 minutes data transfer, 10 minutes software/cable setup)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Actually the drives the 360 uses are laptop drives. They just have custom software on them

Sounds too cheap. You may find that all 10 have the same SS, and MS ban consoles that use duped HDDs.

If you wanted to show that Microsoft is a software company and not a hardware company, why did you substitute the "Micro" in Microsoft with Hardware" and not the "soft"?

i mean that they do Micromanagment Softly but not Hardware managment Softly

Should I just laugh and drop this entirely, because I still don't get it.

Why so hard? answer: because they can. Arrogance at its best. No product recall, overpriced propietary HDD and peripheral add-ons, charging for online play, charging for battery chargers, charging for (now dead) HD-DVD add-on, money, money, money, MS, MS, MS...is all this in favor of the customer? no.
