Full Brutal Legend soundtrack released by EA Denmark

Fun fact: Heavy Metal was invented in Denmark in 1843 by Professor Garth Metallus in a horrible lab accident involving taut metal strings and a primitive electroacoustical transducer. The spirit of the rock music has innundated the nation ever since -- as such, we're not surprised that EA Denmark was the studio which recently revealed the 100-plus thrashing songs which will be included in Double Fine's upcoming epic rock story, Brütal Legend.

The list has since been pulled from EA Denmark's site, but not before Kotaku snagged a screencap of a translated version of the page. We've got the whole kit n' caboodle posted after the jump. Unless EA makes some drastic changes to the final setlist, they're going to have to put a Surgeon General's warning on the game, telling players they're about to subject themselves to a terrible case of face melting.

Some really good songs in there as well! GOTY confirmed!. I have bolded some of my favorites... To bad it seems Dio has been completely removed.. "The mob rules" is nowhere to be found (even though it was in one of the first trailers for the game)

Holy FU&%*NG shit...those are some wicked tunes. Tornado of souls is in there by Megadeth which alone makes this game with buying. But wow...Carcass, Iced Earth, Sanctuary...whoever made this list...knows metal music very well.

You're an 80s glam metal fan eh? :)

Throughout my life, I saw the following bands lvie at some point...
3 Inches of Blood
Anthrax
Black Sabbath
Children of Bodom
Dimmu Borgir
Iced Earth
In Flames
Judas Priest
Megadeath (minus the A)
Motley Crue
Ozzy Osbourne
Rob Zombie
Static-X

Well I don't know how def leppard is classified as metal :-/
But yeah, that's about right.
There was a judas preist/whitesnake concert recently where I live. Man if only I had friends I would have gone Then I think there was also a def leppard one just last week.

Right now I'm just discovering how good rob zombie is (not white zombie though).

Rob Zombie is amazing and is even better live. Saw him and Ozzy play a show couple of years back...must say that Rob was better despite being an opener.

The reason why this song list rules is because they put the best tunes from each band... They didn't put some tune from the shitty Nostradamus Judas Priest record...but Painkiller. Same with other bands...

As far as I am aware Def Leppard were classified as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement in the late 70s...so yeah, id call them metal :)

A great list, right now it isn't set in stone, but I think they've made great choices so far. I'm curious whether this many songs are just cycling through as you play or if they use all of these songs in specific instances that they really fit in.

...

Nice, very nice. Now I won't this game ASAP.

4 ≈ One

The song list here is too amazing to only post about it once...so here I am again.

CoF? Tvangeste? Dark Fortress? Dimmu Borgir? Iced Earth? In Flames? (an excellent song, not just any! ) Children of fucking Bodom? too much glam shite, but everything else is rock solid.

edit: Emperor? nice!

edit2: Mirrorthrone? not a fan, but the guys really know their Metal. Mirrortrone is barely known... too bad there's no Illnath.

I'm so sold. SO FUCKING SOLD.
