So do you feel that the VC games you've purchased weren't worth the price?

Oh wow good question. I'm satisfied. That's how I truly feel. I like the games and they're still more VC games I wish to buy, but I expect more coming from Nintendo you know. And because I'm familiar with these classic games I pick carefully. And yeah I know it may sound like I'm giving up in the end and willing to pay, well I love these games and I know Nintendo's not going to reduce their prices (well anytime soon that is).
But you know, a demo service would be greatly appreciated.

Yea it depends. I haven't got enough but from what i do have, SMB LL, SMB3, MM2, Shinobi are wirth it mostly.
Infact i bought less satisfying WW games, Driiftmania, MM9 (too difficult) and Orbient
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

That's fair. They did something like that in Brawl, but I don't think I played with the feature much...
my attitude is who cares?
ive prolly dropped 3 bills on vc and wii ware, and i dotn feel too bad generally.
ten bucks is nto so bad, its easily run on hd tv etc.
As someone who bought games such as Mario RPG, Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger just before the release of the Wii for much more than 8$ each, I can tell you they are not overpriced. Sure, they are just a ROM dumps of games that were released years ago but it's still the best price you can find.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
There is only one problem with the VC...
Where the hell is Yoshi's Island!?

No i don't follow your logic. You're saying because it' old it has to be cheap and i just don't agree with that.
However even if I did it still doesn't mean you are right, it's not like selling a GC game for $50, they're not selling NES games for $50, they're selling them for $5. If we were to follow Nintendo's formula so far it goes NES - $5, SNES - $8, N64 - $10, then GC would be either $12 or $13 if we followed the pattern. It's like walking into gamestop and seeing new GC games being sold for $13, omg.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Sometimes VC games are an amazing deal. For example:
Harvest Moon (SNES) on VC: 8$
Harvest Moon (SNES) on Ebay: ~70$
Now if only they could find a way to release Earthbound on VC.
