i dont see why people should boycott activision, they'll just miss out on the greatest FPS on consoles this gen.

Considering the money they are wasting on developing, i think its time fore a bigger price
Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!

I wouldn't do it myself, not completely, but I can see why somebody would.
EDIT: I'd like if if I could buy Modern Warfare 2 and have all of it (after shipping and the retailer cut) go to Infinity Ward, and not a cent to their parent company, Activision, but that can't happen

Hopefully they will now realize how nice euro is. :)

More people boycott less they will make games for those who boycott their games. However, there will be always enough stupids that activision will just get more money when they raise prices. I would say that it would be wise to raise prices as developing costs are getting quite high.
Not to be mean to anyone here, but wait for Activision to have a record-breaking Q4 to prove how impotent these internet boycotts are
Let the boycott stand on the crappiness of their games (and only for those games of theirs that are actually crappy), rather than some attempt at a moral crusade. A boycott will fail, but a true shift in consumer attitudes will succeed.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The GBP has risen back to around 2003 levels - which was the average just before the big boost (I think it was more the dollar falling). One thing's for sure, game prices didn't fall during that time.
Give it a ocuple of weeks and they'll have forgotten about any boycott, just a load of hotair.

If you had a business, and were selling things at a profit and big quantity, would you drop your prices?
I understand if you don't like the new prices... If Activision sells too few games in UK I'm sure they'll drop the prices again.

Too bad this boycott will do absolutely nothing. Activision are a behemoth and MW2 is going to break records.
