That's fine and you're entitled to that, but there is no point sounding off when it clearly states "favorite" in the opening line.

It has the genre conventions, experience, leveling up, hit points, party management, items, moves(more in line with magic and skills but in Pokemon they use PP not MP or the like), etc. You can't deny it.
