Of course it is kind of sad because now developers will work on making many more clones of this type of game on Wii rather than new ips like No More Heroes, etc. Nintendo should really try to bring the standard of quality seal back in some form, so that developers just don't sit on their laurels and try to bring out cheap clones of successful Wii Series games that obscure everything else in the market. |
Oh i get it, So theyre going to make WM+ enabled waggle minigame collections? Like they always do, despite the fact they are alot alot less successful now that the majority of mainstream audiences have kinda wised up. (movie brand name games are irrelivent bcoz they also sell pretty well on 360 if u didnt notice)
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
