Finally...after 9 Months, one RRoD'ed 360....I finally finished Gears 2 last night. I thought the ending was ok. The last two stages are basically run throughs but all in all fun game. I'm just happy after all this time I was able to finish it.

I got it just recently as well, I'm still waiting for microsoft to send the box.

Man...9 months? I play my xbox every day and have had it since November 2007 with no problems what so ever.

The other that I bought in Dec 2006 had the DVD drive break in mid 2008. Do you guys leave your 360 running all night or something?

I don't leave my 360 on. Here's the full story. I purchased Gears 2 on release date. I began playing it and my 360 RRoD'ed. I got it back a month later but was playing my PS3 upon its arrival. When I finally got back to playing my 360 I had to work late hours and rarely played. Then March rolled around with all the good releases SF IV, RE 5, etc... Finally I got back to playing Gears 2 but because of work was only able to get a hour here, and few minutes there.

so basically its taken you 9 months to beat gears 2 and within that time you survived a rrod as well :p

I need to go back to gears 2 to unlock a lot more achievements ...but then it's taken me over 1 year to finally beat GTA4 XD

lol...so conclusion is xbox 360 can't handle gears 2?

I'm not kidding but I've heard back in the launch time that the update in the Gears 2 disc(?) was causing RoD issues.

I'm selling the fish at the same price I've bought it. Don't hit me if this is wrong.

Yes, Gears 2 doesn't only take down the Queen it takes down 360's as well, lol

actually for me it was a PS2 port called FFXI which my 360 couldn't handle.. :/
