Well I already have the Monster Hunter Tri and don't have the PSP game. Also how hard could it be to learn if the game uses the classic controller?

Oh. I thought you were considering importing it. Well, then, now that you actually have it, what does it matter?

Other than the fact that the screen goes black and gives me a high pitched noise when I try to start a new game, nothing really.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Hmm, does it end up working alright?

Have you tried any other imports?

It won't work at all. I can view the videos and everything but when I try to start a new game from the main menu it just crashes.

I've never imported a game before.

Can't go much more into detail. Let's just say this is my Wii's way of saying "Serves you right!"

Ouchies. Did you get the freeloader or whatever that allows to play imports?

I can see why you don't want to answer this though.

Without going into too much detail myself, it seems your "import" has some defense mechanism on it just like some DS "imports" do. I think it's about time you go looking for a refund.

leave your character name as hunter during character creation might do it... just don't touch that thing.

I know about the character creation issue but I haven't been able to even reach that screen yet.

It will take some work but I know for sure I can get it to work.

@Onyxmeth

Those DS "imports" haven't given me many issues to be honest.

you are using gecko OS right? latest version is 1.9.2, should work assuming you have homebrew channel and the right ios installed. don't use usbloader btw, the game would freeze, it should work assuming you are running the import from the DVD drive.
