from the preorder status at amazon, the sale potential of SRW neo doesn't look very promising.... the 3D style and gameplay look really refreshing to me though
but the problem is, the japanese SRW fans are known to hate major changes to this franchise
too bad it's on Wii, otherwise i can contribute one sale. the Wii game is region-restricted and it will never get localized for the western market.
keep praying the next SRW on PS3 :)

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

I imagine they'll make into a game soon because they're getting so popular.
Ugh, I think i'll be passing on this SRW, the roster is very super robot loaded and when I play SRW I tend to have my teams more real robot oriented.

2D style is way better. It just looks amazing. The last 3D one was the N64 and it was pretty bad. Hopefully this will be better.
And there is an SRW in development for the PS3 IIRC.
@Soriku
I want Neo to sell well as much as you do. I am simply reporting what I've seen at Amazon.com.jp. I've never seen any SRW game with such lousy preorder status since the one debut on X360.
And it's the fact that SRW fans don't like the 3D version (on X360). The picture you post won't change the fact.

yes, i was not imprssed when they released the roster list.
i guess it may have something to do with the new gameplay system.

Well it didnt help that the 360 SRW game was a port of the 2004 Gamecube SRWGC. That SRW was just kind of bleh, you could tell they didnt put a lot of effort into it.

can someone actually explain the whole "super robot vs real robot" thing to me, cause I never really understood it. everything just seems like it all fits under the mecha category to me.

for example, gundam robots are "real" robot. they don't have heavy armors but they are good at dodge enemy's attacks. also, their weapons are not as powerful, but have higher accuracy.
most of the SRW games have pretty good balance of "super" and "real" series robots.
