Proud Member of the Official Yoshi Fan Club!.

they definitely deserve another shot.

I would like to see more of the wackyness of the first one and whole lot of new characters for sure.

The gameplay is fine as it is, but if they come up with something new and cool, it is more than welcome.

I wouldn't say it's getting poor sales (excpet for Pal that is). It's selling quite consistently in NA.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I wouldn't say Punch-Out has gotten poor sales. Decent is more like it.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

ya they deserve another chance NLG is a proven dev.

I want Mario back as the referee. That is all I ask.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Got a retro room? Post it here!

May be its nostalgia speaking, but I thought they did a phenomenal job walking the tight rope that was this game. I really think they should be commended for making a game that felt fresh and looked great while not deviating from the gameplay and presentation from the original. In fact, I really think this is what the original would have been if the tech was there in the beginning. I apologize for rambling, my answer is an emphatic "yes!" And I'd just like to see some new characters and some cut scenes to replace the introduction stills.

Yes they deserve another shot. Punch-Out!! was a remake with new fights of the NES and SNES versions of the game with 1 new fighter that most people will ever see. I loved it personally and they did an exceptional job on the game. They perfectly blended new gameplay while holding true to the original NES version.

I'd love to see a new one with all brand new characters (possibly a few SNES characters), the same game modes, and Mario as the Ref.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
