Well... that's interesting. Can't wait for more "Hardcore games don't sell" threads after this game releases. It'll be a Christmas treat for sure.
Ah well. *Waits for Scribblenauts*

This is fucking bizarre news, it really is. Well ill be interested to see how it works out.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I'm just stating a fact, sales of the wii are very good despite still receiving poor third party support. I'm pretty sure you would agree with that. |
Of course not, if you have a PS3/360/PC then buy all means buy it if you wish.
In reference to my comment, I was under the assumption that you may be a Wii only owner, seeing as your posting about the wii "killing the other two consoles sales wise"...which in this thread mean nothing seeing as the Wii is missing out on CoD:MW2, and the Sales argument is usually used by Nintendo fanboys when their machine has nothing better than sales, so I do apologise if my assumption of you was incorrect.
Fast forward to January:

I guess one could say that a shit storm is coming....I wonder how both parties will react once all is said and done.
All I'm going to say about this is that it better be the CoD equivalent to RE4. All the downloadable content included, superior controls, not gimped in any way (beyond no-HD graphics and maybe less effects due to processor power) and a reduced price.
Split-screen online would be most welcome on Wii (although QoS had it already, no one owns that) so it's a whole lot better than no CoD:MW but it's still a bitter pill to shallow for Wii owners as HD owners will be playing MW2.
I'll probably end up getting it, I might rent it first. It will be interesting to see how much of an improvement it is over COD:WAW.
I wish the PS3/360 trolls would just leave. Us Wii owners are happy (some of us) so just pop off.

In related news I bought a copy of Little King's Story for my little brother. I'll be buying a copy for myself at the end of this month.
