Forums - Sony - Way of the Samurai 4 confirmed

Although Way of the Samurai 3 hasn’t been released in North America yet, a fourth title in the action-adventure series is already in development. 

Rakuten, a Japanese retailer, recently listed the “Playstation 3 the Best” (the equivalent to Greatest Hits in North America) version of Way of the Samurai 3 Plus. Aside from the budgeted price and some new content, the upcoming re-release will also include a trailer for Way of the Samurai 4. The sequel will be released in 2010 according to the product description.

The “Playstation 3 the Best” of Way of the Samurai 3 Plus will be available in Japan on October 29th. Meanwhile, the localized version of Way of the Samurai 3 is coming to North America in October for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Why is this in the Sony section if anything it should be in the MIcrosoft.The 3rd is exclusive to the Xbox in America

And the 4th has been announced yet for 360.

No, it isn't. UFO Interactive just announced the 360 version first. Agetec is bringing over the PS3 version.

Both versions have a different publisher? Wow.

 

This is in the Sony section because no Xbox 360 version has been mentioned (allthough it's likely to be multiplatform).

This is in the Sony section because no Xbox 360 version has been mentioned (allthough it's likely to be multiplatform).

It has to do with UFO not being a licensed PS3 publisher/developer.
