Forums - Sony - LAIR - Was it really THAT bad?! Amazon has it at 1.77£

Maybe you can buy it and use it to trade, assuming its TIV is greater.

btw lair has an excellent soundtrack which i find quite sad.
i never owned the game nor played it though.

Although the game is priced at £1.77 there is a £4.99 delivery charge from amazon (most of the games are sold by a third party). I think you can pick it up (brand new) from another thrid party through Play.com for around £5.80. Might get it myself at that price.

lair wasnt to bad just had a frustrating mission set up, and controls were either love it or hate it.

its been patched for analogue controls so it worth a shot.

bear in mind the price excludes £4.99 delivery. i was gonna order it untill i saw that

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Ah.. didnt know that (4.99).

But i can find it at another site for 9€ or 13$ or 7£ ..total. Still worth it?

I thought on Amazon you had the option of really slow, very cheap delivery? Or has that gone? I'm not sure as I have the Prime thingy on Amazon which gives you free delivery.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Lair is cheap and a game is a game- right? Give Lair a shot but do not be surprised if you end up breaking the game disc and shouting out "this game totally sucks".

Hey you have a good collection of games and Lair would not look good in your games library.

Of the other cheap games you mentioned: GRAW 2 is an excellent Tactical shooter game, Mirrors Edge is fun and Condemned 2 is a survival horror game and is well worth a go.

They still do have that option on items sold directly by Amazon but I'm fairly sure the games are sold through Amazon by another company. The game prices are generally lower than other sites but then they always hit you with a £5 delivery charge.

I think it is a good game.

I believe it was not liked because critics had high hopes for it (due to its pedigree .. from makers of star wars rogue squadron games).

Lair is a fun game but flawed, but it is not unplayable. The analog control scheme patch made it a little easier to control but I never had much of a problem with the Sixaxis controls.

Out of the other games you mentioned, I would get GRAW 2 and Mirror's Edge, both are fun games. I don really reccommend the other 2.

They do have that option but I do beleive that it has to be direct from Amazon and has to meet a certain price total requirement. Its $25 in the US, dont know what it is elsewhere.
