in ps1 days.

sony sold only a few ps1, most of the sales about 70 million came from the slim version.



Slim PS3 = Cheaper PS3 (Most likely) = More sales = More 3rd parties willing to risk exclusives content due to bigger userbase = Good for Current owners

It's pretty much a fresh start. It's going to come with a price cut and Gran Turismo 5/Final Fantasy XIII in Japan. It could really turn things around for Sony.

The DS exploded about the same time the Lite launched, remember.



Your describtion of the PS3 slim is completely wrong.
