Forums - Sony - FFVII enemy names?

Hey guys. I just downloaded FFVII recently on PSN because I was about 5 when the game came out.

 

So how exactly do you know what the enemies are called in the game? or rather, how do you find out inside the game?

Is it like other JRPG's where you actually see the enemies names when select them, (do you have to have a materia for that)

Or do you get a bestiary in the game like castlevania: Dawn of sorrow?

Help is appreciated.

Press Select.

it will bring up a bar just above all the action boxes, and when you select an enemy it tell you its name.

of course the enemy names are all random, but it helps if I want to know what to call a boss on a forum.

You'll also soon get the "sense" materia. This will tell you the enemies name, HP, MP and any weaknesses they might have.
