Difference being that Halo 3 gamers are in majority concentrated in the same region, so Halo 3 peak will be huge. While Steam crowd is quite divided in several regions.

Another thing is that many people don't get online on Steam to play the games. I haven't played online on Steam in weeks, yet I've been playing alot Mount & Blade and a bit of Audiosurf.

And most important of all, just because they are online on Steam and shows not playing, doesn't mean it like that. Many just keep Steam logged on and go play Retail games, or Digital games from other services, and none of those appear on Steam stats.

Fact: Xbox Live blows PSN away in every way, shape, form. Having owned a PS3 and used everything available on the PSN I can state this fact with no bias. This is not an opinion, it never has been, it never will be. When Sony charges for PSN and puts something real into it I might care about PS3 again. Until then I will continue to use Live every single day and do way more than the PS3 will ever be able to do.

Also, to all the people talking about the web browser in the PS3, it is a crappy half-assed browser that can't do nearly half of the stuff you can do on a PC browser. Plus, like a normal person, I do my web browsing on a DAMN COMPUTER, where it belongs.

Lastly, I said it once, I will say it again, MY CELL PHONE DOES MORE THAN THE PSN. LMAO...

I didn't ask for Steam info, so what the hell are you talking about?! Get a grip.

Being console online or not is irrelevant! It just shows that many console gamers are willing to pay for things that otherwise would've been free. When Microsoft pulled on PC the same stunt they did on Xbox, you did not see PC gamers buying subscriptions for GFWL.. why pay for seomthing that you can get better and for free? PC gamers forced Microsoft to make GFWL free.

I was merely pointing out that not many people use Steam as a gaming portal. It is mainly used for DD, and even then I don't even know how much it is used for that. Given the fact that CoD4 only sold 2.5 million on PC and I think I remember you saying it was at the top of the Steam list for a while.
