Wich one will have better announcements for your gaming tastes? 

I think TGS will have better news for gamers,
however it seems gamescom is going to have some good announcements too

GamesCon will probably have better announcements for hardware, especially if Sony announces the Slim and a Price Cut. and as always TGS is about the games!

That's a good question .. last years Games Convention and TGS didn't have real shocker announcements (or atleast I don't remember them ..) and the new games that were presented mostly were in the B to C string

I wonder if the newly formed GamesCom (maybe people will realize/remember it ends with an "m" after the show is over) will get any better material than the Leipzig GC.
TGS might finally wake up again after some pretty slow years.

Personally I'm usually more interested in japanese games, so I do have higher hopes for the TGS, but maybe the GamesCom can surprise me especially with that 3h Sony press conference scheduled.
