Forums - Nintendo - Arc Rise Fantasia NA release apparently pushed back to 2/17/10

I found this out while browsing for it on Amazon.com... Gamestop now shows the same release date. This is pretty bad news for those of us who were looking forward to this game.. it looks like there won't really be a release of a JRPG for the Wii this year because Tales of Graces is very unlikely to be released outside of Japan until next year and who knows if Monado will even be released here at all. (frowny face)

On the other hand, it won't be too bad for me because that's another $50 I will be able to spend on Christmas presents since I'll already be buying a few games for myself this winter.

Well atleast it's coming ^^ Delays suck, but it's even worse when games don't come at all :/

I'm sad...but I now have a PS2 so I have a lot of JRPGS to waste the time...

Former something....

Ah well.. It was supposed to come out 11/19 anyway so that's only a three month difference. Probably XSEED doesn't want this game to get lost among all the big holiday releases.. but there are no other JRPGS so I don't know if that's it. Maybe the localization is taking longer than expected but the game has already been out a few months in Japan.

The continuation of FF4 was released on WiiWare this year.

ALL Marvelous games get pushed back. It's a fact I've come to terms with.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Kind of unfortunate, my pickings for RPG's this year are slim enough without that being delayed as well.

...

Well I think Fragile, Muramasa, Valhalla Knights, The Crystal Bearers and Spectrobes: Origins more than make up for Arc Rise.

Damkira, I'd recommend checking out at least one of those games.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Oooh.. I totally forgot Fragile was being released... That's awesome... and I've already pre-ordered Crystal Bearers.

That's good. I'd also recommend either Valhalla Knights or Spectrobes though. They never get the attention they deserve.
