Forums - Gaming - Former SCEEE CEO: We need $100 games

In the middle of Recession and bad economics Chris Deering gave his opinions about AAA titles and the price tag for them. According to him those games need to cost 70 Pounds to help the industry.

Basically he's saying that the development cost is 10 times bigger than a PS2 game and 50 times bigger than a PS1. 70 Pounds is almost 100 bucks, so of course people is not going to pay so much for that.

Thanks for the note. I forget about Britain and the euro thing..... so it's like 116 dollars, yep it's even worse.

Screw it, from here on in, I'm going used games only...except for my already pre-ordered Dissidia and Uncharted 2 games ¬_¬

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

This is why he is the former CEO

It's just his opinion. Of course isn't going to happen, it'll kill the industry.
