Maybe society at large is better off with toilets, but I as an individual still prefer taking my poops in a bucket damnit. Don't shatter my dream with your educational photo.

Agreed, but at least on the 360 games work without installation. That's the core of the problem and what would piss me off if I had a PS3 as far as I'm concerned.

title should read "Pretty simple fail from Simulacrum" ....honestly lacking storage space is everybody's own issue to solve however they want to organize it by keep/delete what contents they have on their HDD. Dont blame it on Sony.

When is the last time you gamed on a console? 1994 maybe? The Sony Playstation, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Sega Dreamcast, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, Sony PSP, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii have all had this problem of limited storage that one might have to delete to get new things on there. Before them, you still had limited memory game to game by having limited save spots.

If I must shatter your bucket pooping dreams to pave the way for modern society then so be it.  I do so happily with a smile on my face, a twinkle in my eyes, and a clothespin on my nose to block out the smell.

Ah yes, I remember having to fit all of my saves on an 8MB memory card...that was not pleasant. Fitting everything on a 40GB hard drive is considerably easier, and if it isn't easy enough, you can get a new, much larger one pretty cheap.

Dude you are one lazy human being if you can't just clear up some HD space. Uninstall one of the games you are not currently playing. There's no way your doing DMC, MGS, RE5 and Far Cry at the same time. Each only takes about 5 minutes to install, no problem :).
