A toilet is more complicated to use than a bucket but you know what, it's still better.

You should have said "in my opinion", since there are still some of us that prefer using our buckets.

Actually, it is better.  Toilets assist the widespread adoption of sewage processing and treatment which in turn produces useful products such as fertilizer as well as recycled water for non-potable uses such as cooling and irrigation.

Maybe society at large is better off with toilets, but I as an individual still prefer taking my poops in a bucket damnit. Don't shatter my dream with your educational photo.
