Forums - Sales - I've got a Wii coming to Mii. And now I have questions.

famousringo the Wiimote and Nunchuk controls were actually really fun for DBZ:BT2 on the Wii. So yeah, I dunno if all games will use it that well but I really enjoyed them for that game.

NJ5, I recommend you buying an extra wiimote and a nunchuck. Even though the price, it's such a party console that it's worth it.
Especilly if you buy Rayman Raving Rabbids as well :)
But if your gonna play a little wii sports with friends and Zelda alone you can start up with just one set of controllers.

Predictions for December 31st 2008:
Wii 38,000,000
DS 84,500,000
PS3 17,000,000
PSP 41,000,000
X360 23,000,000

Thanks everyone for your advice :)

I'll buy a second nunchuk. To get the second Wiimote I was thinking of buy Wii play since it's almost the same price as a Wiimote.

I see people talking about SSBB and the nunchuck. SSBB will support just about every controller configuration the Wii offers, but wiimote+nunchuck is possibly the worst. The chief designer prefers using a Gamecube controller. I think I'll prefer the classic controller, myself. Wiimote without nunchuck is also a supported control method.

Explain how the Wiimote + nunchuck is bad for SSBB.

The Wiimote alone is the worst option in my opinion.

With the Wiimote + nunchuck, you have a fully working analog stick in your left hand...that does half the work in Smash Bros.  You have an A and B button, that deals with standard and special moves.  The only moves left are shield, jump, and grab, which could use Z, C, and D-down or something.  What's so bad about that configuration?

Not playing a previous SSB, i wasn't sure on how many buttons were needed, thanks, makes me wonder how the "remote on its own" version will work....unless movement is controlled by some motion sensitive means (freeing up four buttons on the D pad)...otherwise + and - will have to be action buttons, as well as A, 1 and 2.

although, maybe jump could be pressing up on the pad while sheild/grab could be down (then the remaining action on the A-button)

nunchuk is good for all multiplayer FPS's... like the upcoming medal of honour heroes 2 which is looking good with 32 player online
