Dark Void Delayed To Early 2010

Another one bites the dust.

July 30, 2009 - Capcom announced during its fiscal first-quarter results that Dark Void, the jet-pack induced game from Airtight Games, will not be coming out on this September as originally planned.

The game will now ship in fiscal fourth-quarter 2009, which begins January 1, 2010, to "avoid competition with releases of
major titles of other companies."

Capcom's Senior Director Chris Kramer told IGN the delay will also help polish and "enhance" the game.

"Dark Void is moving into Capcom's fiscal Q4 in order to get the game out of the crowded fall game season and to allow the development team more time to polish and enhance the game experience."

The great game delay of 2009 continues.

@johnsobas
Dark void has actually impressed game reviewers in its previews even people who were skeptical.

I would reserve judgment until it is out.

But war... war never changes

Not surprised.

I want this game to do well, but up against Halo: ODST it was gonna fail hard. I'm kinda glad it's been pushed back.

If i had a choice of this or Modern Warfare 2, i know what i would have picked.
