Crysis will still look better than this on the PC, IMO, the only developers capable of besting Crytek in visual fidelity is Crytek itself. The 360/PS3 versions won't look as good, at least the PS3 version won't, going by how incapable they *SEEM* to be using it's technology.

Of course, lost in this PS3/360 fight is the fact that Carmack is saying that the PC version runs at 60 FPS, fits on one Blu Ray, and has higher detail / AA, but hey, feel free to fight over which inferior version is more inferior-y.

It's just too bad. It looked promising.

I don't know if I'm imagining things, but, a while back didn't ID also say the 360 version would be slightly inferior because of the disk space? I guess they were wrong and slightly overestimated the PS3's capabilities.

fixed =) Game looks good, the megatextures ability to render giant textures is impressive. But I get the feeling it's a Fallout 3 rip everytime I read the preview in Game Informer...

this game looks awesome, it wouldnt suprise me to see bethesda use id's engine's for future games across both systems.

He needs Sony's ultra developers (the guys that helped Naughty Dog) to come in and squeeze as much juice out of that game as possible.

He had to balance out his "DVD is too small" comment with this, anyway

im sure they will get ps3 version up2 scratch upon release.

i highly doubt the 60fps on consoles though.

but 4 dvd`s for a fps lol no way im getting ps3 version.
