Still not very solid evidence. And you can keep dreaming about any price cuts. I think the phat will stay the same while the slim will be priced at above $400.

Various insiders on gaf are hinting that the Slim will hit in September (one actually saying September 1st specifically). The date also jibes with those leaked distro adverts from France.  I wouldn't be surprised if the date in the OP is correct, but they just used a mock-up photo as they had nothing else.

The insiders on gaf also say the fat ps3 will get a price drop in late August (to 299 Euros, not sure about other territories). Whether that's to coincide with Madden as the rumors said, or whether it will follow GamesCom, I don't know.

This looks like another bad fake. I am pretty sure that Sony has something in store because they have no chance of hitting 13 million consoles without a price cut.
