The PS3 version does look better...however, like Mortal Kombat in the 16-bit days, call me cynical but I'll take the excess blood versus the graphics.

Because of blood Sega Megadrive Mortal kombat >>> Super Nintendo Mortal kombat.

I like lots of claret.

Wow, they've really given a new look and weight-loss for Ayane.

It sucks that they knocked out the gore but the extra content is enough to fill that void. Can't wait to own everything with Ayane :D.

They're exactly same versions, same engine, same textures, same models, same resolution.

The only difference is that the graphics cards are different in PS3 and X360, so texture filtering is slightly different. Also u can see very minor details changed like the eyes of the hero are fixed on the PS3 version.

PS3 version naturally has the edge in the graphics department and polish since the game is being released a year after the 360 version was. I did notice the toned down blood in the PS3 build but that is likely deliberate after all the fuss about games = violence BS that is going about at the moment!

Wtf is that blue thing.. Its a joke, why take away blood and gore. Crazy!

You sure about that?

Yes, they just import the same models and textures into the same engine running on a PS3.

The only difference possibly is the resolution. We have to ask leo-J if he has read about that. It's not very often there's a difference in res between PS360 versions and it certainly didnt look like that from this video comparison.

Anti-aliasing is very often different though (typically slightly stronger on PS3), but that's part of texture filtering anyway.

lol....but you said earlier that they were running in the "exact same resolution". O_o
