I don't like what they did with the 360 review. I don't think it's ok to penalize so much just because of the controls.

The fuck? It's 3/10's of a point. If anything they pussied out and should've penalized it more.

0.3 points is huge! And anyway why are they waking up now? (it's the first fighting game that is being penalized for the controls on ign)

It is fair on a fighter like this.

Anyway, i can see why they gave the PS3 version a better score.

A good D-Pad in fighter games is necessary, unless of course you have the arcade stick.

Well, you can use a PS2 controller on the Xbox 360, fyi. I am right now. Basing a games review on one of multiplat controller options, just because it is the most commonly used, is dumber than a brick full of shits.

So, because the Xbox 360 version of the game, was reviewed with the Xbox 360 standard controller... its a shit review?

Huge? I *HOPE* my bullshit detector is broken and you're not serious. And if you're right about this being the first (which I have no reason NOT to believe you), then this is yet another hash mark in the "suck" column on the ign scoreboard.

I AM serious. The overall score should not be affected that much.

Who uses pads anyways? Maybe at my friends or when I have get overs because we all don't have forty sticks to throw around, but serious competition and playing requires a arcade stick.

It's just that simple.

Only if you deduct points, as well as fail to mention the alternatives, when comparing a game to a competitor, all the while praising the competitors controller, despite the fact, that you can use said controller on the Xbox 360 as well.

It's like me reviewing World of Warcraft, and complaining that there aren't enough buttons on my mouse. The game obviously requires more buttons, and thus, I take points off, because my standard 3 button PC mouse isn't the best controller option.

Or if they don't like that, why not use a...I dunno...fighting game controller.

Should they take points off Twilight Princess because I didn't want to use my Gamecube controller, and was forced to waggle?

...well Carl?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

...well Carl?

Why should he go into alternatives?

The majority of people who download the game will either use the DS3 on PS3 or the 360 standard controler, on 360.

If you need to use a completely different controler to enjoy the game as much as the other version... it warrants points deducted.

Like I said, if you use a normal controller thats fine. But don't call yourself a serious fighting game fan if your not using a stick. Let me know when someone wins EVO or even enters it without a stick.

It's just that simple.

360 has bad D-pad, but there are fixes for it. Analog sticks work in all games.
