LOl...little early for this--they have it listed as a November 2008 release.

Anyhow, it's doing pretty well--#19 on Amazon and still over a year away.

Pretty crazy to pre-order this early--must be some major fans. I love FF and will be pre-ordering this game, but it's a little too far off to do that right now.

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

I could understand it doing that well if people actually knew it was up for pre-order. But, damn, how'd people find out so fast?

almost a waste of time preordering.. you have a full year till you can get it but hell if the pre-order sells PS3s its all good.

Holycrap. Nov. 2008?!?!??! I'll just buy it in-store when it launches. Or better yet, ebgames or gamestop sometimes have those special bonus items. I'll wait for that. :)

that's just a placeholder date, i doubt it makes it by nov 08 in the us. why preorder a game over 1 year in advance anyway?

 true, I love my FFXII collectors edition. I still never beat the game =[ I wish I didnt lose my save.. so close to beating it.. anyone care to tell me wtf happens after you collect every esper and beat the game. I know there's a secret ending.

That's not the real release date, just a placeholder. FFXIII most likely won't come out before 2009, sorry guys.
