I know exactly what you mean. When I first heard about the game and got first details, I read: "Open world Survival horror game where light is more important then weapons." Quite frankly, an open world horror game sounds absolutely brilliant.

Now, the game is neither Survival horror, or open world. *yawn*.

I thought the same thing. I was hoping for a horror game , but Alan Wake seems excellent, I can't wait for this game.
