Forums - Sony - Dissidia: Final Fantasy ... Whats its...

Genre...???

After playing the demo for hours and hours... (Never gets old, loving it! SEPHIROTH FTW!!!) i've noticed RPG Elements, (And i hear the FULL game really shines it better.) and of course Fighting and Action Styled elements aswell as Hack n' Slash...

So... What in the fuck is this game? because whatever it is... its made of nothing but pure win!

Sephiroth is much stronger then Onion Knight. I played the demo for about 20 minutes, but I still don't really know, how to make different attacks.

Take a look at my photos on flickr

its a fighting game with alotta RPG element, alot of fighting games had RPG elements before,
btw the full game is no where as easy as this one, you play it as a normal RPG, you know buy armor , grinding and leveling up.

this chessboard thingie acts like your world map , it plays kinda like a SRPG, but the battles are done in the style you are playing at now.

Sephiroth > All... His string of combos is never-ending!

As for attacks... theres few in here because its a demo i assume but heres some i discovered... for sephiroth anyway...

O = Some sort of barrage if hit 3 times, sorta like his attacks from KH1 and KH2...

Down O = A freakin fast single slash but it hits like 10 to 12 times and steals insane bravery.

Up O = He shoots about 10 blades of energy that follows the attacker.

Right O = He twirls his sword around like a nut-case and hits around 7  to 8 times then finishs with a explosion of some sort.

Theres also 3 dif Square moves aswell but i forget how there used...well not really just to lazy to type it down.

Holy CRAP thanks for the info man.

So ... its a Mix eh?

...Hybrid Action, Fighting, Strategy, hack n' Slash JRPG then? lol awesome sauce.

In that case what does it lean towards the most?

Terra is the best in the game btw..
her attacks are just too cheap....
but shes terra so screw it =D

there you go. this explains alotta of it, but its much deeper than this. though i haven't played it xD
